Each frame is a unique hitbox that can throw the opponent out of the remainder of the spiral. As I said above, opponents generally jump out of this, so look for a DAir, or even another Ground Pound. Its main strength is its low startup frames, so you can fish for instant stabs with it. Average speed, average damage, decent hitbox. Also works for edgeguarding, but SAir is preferred. Sword’s SAir is mainly an edgeguarding tool, but it’s also a good kill move out of DAir (bounce your opponent off of the floor into a true SAir). It’s also a pretty decent juggler, but you generally want your opponent on the stage or below you, so don’t fish for juggles too frequently. It’s main uses are for defensive hitboxes while recovering, and some niche free damage out of DLight>DAir. Also works to catch opponents on the corner, which can lead to an excellent edgeguard. Sword’s DLight is its main anti-air move, but that doesn’t make it a good one. Medium range, long active frames, good for catching recoveries to the corner. The Sword Moveset in Brawlhalla NLightĪ standard NLight. If your opponent tries to duck under you, you can use DAir, but try not to let them get above you, as you don’t have many options for that. Think of your SAir as a continuous vertical wall on the edge of the stage you’ll want to meet your opponent where they intersect this wall, and deflect them with SAir.
