Nier automata 2b sex5/12/2023 ![]() Tinder is a platform purpose built for people to find other people to have sex with or at the very least date, it's not a case of guys just being creeps everywhere, they're engaging with a service where they figure women are looking to pair up as well. While the whole thing is mostly harmless and some dudes out there may have discovered a game they might not have otherwise bought and enjoyed, I'm not onboard with calling them creepy for the 2B costume thing.ĢB's costume was purpose built to be interesting visually and provocative. I'd have hoped people here were a bit better than this. Like really? This is the sort of discourse we're at? I mean after shit like the thread where people were calling others too sensitive for being saddened by glamorized cockfighting in FC6 I guess I know what to expect but still. People are legit saying "yeah I'd do that". It's baffling to me though that while she seems to at least have some level of perspective on the thing as "yeah maybe this wasn't that great and I shouldn't have done that" tons of people here are holding her up as some sort of paragon, or at the very embodying a kind of "hehe for teh lulz" apathy that I'd expect from like early internet 4chan or something. Especially not the pervs, obviously, but not her (who the article is mostly about!), and not Patricia/Kotaku for their weird excessively salacious take ("amazing"/"devious"/"scheming") on the whole thing. Nobody in this article comes away looking like a good person. The woman by her own admission says by the end what she was doing was fucked up, apathetically just using tinder to push the game to the exclusion of all else, and in the process ghosting and hurting people's feelings who sometimes didn't deserve it. Heck Kotaku probably wouldn't even publish the story.I'd hope, but it's Kotaku and all that. The double standard is that if the article was about a Nier-obsessed guy who "used to roam around on tinder, get women to buy Nier Automata, and then ghost them", I don't think (rightly so) that you'd be seeing all the 'based', 'hero', 'king' takes (here at least, you'd almost certainly see them in certain parts of the internet). She sounds self aware enough context wise to make me say 'fair enough' to this, but as equally a guy who has been messed around on Tinder, the idea I'd do the same to women looking for dates is kinda bizarre to me I get men can be somewhat mean-spirited horny shits on dating apps, I genuinely do, and it's interesting she talks about how she became apathetic over time - along with the acknowledgement she may have hurt the feeings of those who just were not as into the game by disappearing as she did. I get called a pervert, then derided in Kotaku. It's Tinder and people are into far worse, so maybe she's into sexy cosplay and put it out there. She steers the conversation towards a game called Nier Automata. She then ghosts me, I get derided in Kotaku and she's a genius.Įnding C) We talk. She persuades me to buy the game to have some kinda common interest. I don't get reported onĮnding B) We talk. A little too focused on the game and me not being a gamer, we leave it there. I come across a girl and I'm going to consider I match with her, since other guys may have caught something in her bio and passed.Įnding A) We talk.
